Our Audiology clinic at Earlab, working closely within the medical community, provides a variety of hearing healthcare services including audiological evaluations, vestibular and balance assessments, aural rehabilitation, education, and counseling.

We routinely dispense technologically advanced digital hearing aids and related assistive listening devices to suit all types of hearing loss and life styles.

Earlab provides cutting edge electrophysiological diagnostic procedures including the Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Middle Latency Response (MLR), Electrocochleography (EcoG),
Electronystagmography (ENG) and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMP). Otoacoustic emissions are a part of every diagnostic audiological work-up.

We also actively participate in the prevention of hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protective devices, consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education. Earlab has a close relationship with many local high school, college and professional music organizations to supply ER-15 and ER-25 musician's earplugs in an effort to preserve the hearing of the individuals in those groups.

In addition to the main Fair Lawn office, the staff of Earlab provides audiology and hearing aid services to several other medical facilities. Among these are Paterson Eye & Ear Infirmary, which is the oldest eye & ear clinic in New Jersey dating back to 1886, the otolaryngology offices of Dr. Frank Kardos in Wayne, Dr. Stephen Abrams and Dr. Stephen Mattel in Clifton. Earlab, Inc recently joined STAT Health Medical Services in West Nyack, NY where full audiological and hearing aid services are offered. Dizziness and balance function testing is provided in North Jersey Physical Therapy in Wayne.
